Crisis Residential Facility

Located on the grounds of Norristown State Hospital in what used to be the Superintendent's residence,

CRP serves those adults who are:

At risk of hospitalization

In need of an emotionally supportive treatment setting to resolve their crisis

Need assistance to establish or enhance a support system.

CRP Services include:

Nursing and psychosocial assessment

Psychiatric assessment

Individualized treatment planning

Individual and group counseling

Dual diagnosis education

Linkages to community supports

Twelve Step meetings

Social and recreational activities

Discharge planning and follow up

Call (610) 631-2480 for information.

The residence is most easily reached via NSH Gate 1, at the corner of Stanbridge & Sterigere Streets, across from the Gulf station. Follow the drive to the left and look for the signs and white house.
