Dual Diagnosis Program
All of those admitted to the MCES inpatient program have a primary diagnosis of mental illness.
Many patients also have co-occurring alcohol, drug abuse, or other substance problems. MCES developed
this specialized program in response to the more complicated needs of such patients.

The MCES Dual Diagnosis Program is a short-term inpatient treatment program involving medical, behavioral, psychological and psychoeducational interventions for patients who are suffering from co-existing mental illness and substance abuse disorders.
The program is integrated with the patient's overall care at MCES.
