MCES is a freestanding, non-profit, 73-bed psychiatric hospital that specializes in meeting the needs
of individuals and families experiencing a behavioral health crisis or both.
MCES inpatient services include:
- Crisis Intervention
- Comprehensive evaluation
- Medical and psychiatric assessment
- Short-term intensive treatment
- Discharge and aftercare planning
MCES is licensed and accredited as follows:
- Pennyslvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) for mental health services
- Pennsylvania Department of Health for Drug and Alcohol services
- Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO)
MCES is the exclusive provider for initial involuntary hospitalizations in Montgomery County, PA.
